Husband, wife and kids are on COBRA
Wife is getting a job and will be going on the company plan 7/1.
Does this create an SEP for the husband and kids to go off-exchange? (Its significantly less expensive than the group benefits or staying on COBRA)
If I'm reading this right, wife is going on employer plan but not husband and kids? (Wife's employer plan too expensive for the whole family, I take it) Does wife gaining eligibility create a SEP for husband and kids so they can get off COBRA?
As I understand, the government changed the rules again and they may be able to terminate COBRA voluntarily and enroll in an Exchange plan until July 1st.

I think it started with only federally run exchanges and then a few state run exchanges jumped on board. Won't apply of course if they are looking for strictly off exchange and they have to be in a state that allows it.
Yagents beat me to it, this entire post is irrelevant in your case.
