Uh no. He was president and a presidential candidate and he presented positions crafted around what democrats and independents could accept. Therefore, he did not advocate marriage equality in either of his campaigns, and hillary not in her first. By the time her second campaign came around, Obama and Joe had already declared what the dem position was. Suddenly after Obama came out in support, dems such as you started acting like it was something dems had supported for decades but the pubs were still back in the 1800's.

They are not even comparable.

Any two things are comparable. What's important is context. Our constitution constrains the extent to which religious zealots can impose harm and loss on people for what other people consider "sinful" behavior, or whatever. Again, this is because we live in a secular society, by law. You see muslims get thrown in jail when they mutilate their children in the name of religion because they are constrained in America.

So yes, I will say it again conservatives aren't throwing gays off of buildings, but within the constraints of which harm and loss can be inflicted based on sexuality, conservatives aren't championing elevating equal protection either.

If your standard is we are not throwing gays off of buildings so we must be good, then you need to reexamine your standard of homophobia.

Oh, I see. Let me spell out the obvious for you then. States were moving toward marriage equality we'll before the Feds. As I said, obama is one person but liberals have been pushing toward equality in marriage before Obama was even the president. For New Jersey it was circa 2006.

Certainly there were not any based on FBI investigations under Obama, Holder, Lynch as to do so would be offensive to his muslim connections and roots and supporters. And we can't have that.

He would have been involved in the prosecution and there have been several other indictments coming out of the recent/current grand jury proceedings related to the michigan doctor. Sessions has the power to prosecute based on investigations and findings from the fbi but also to ask them to do more investigation if some aspect is needed to support prosecution. I dont know what the the internal process is there on that. Certainly not much happens if ultimately the prosecutors/Justice Department are not interested in advancing cases and more happens if they are.
