I am not licensed in California, a local client's family member in LA probably missed their group enrollment deadline, is past 60 days from losing prior employer coverage. Age 35
What short term is available, if any for someone with a pre-ex autoimmune disorder?
LA proper, not suburban. Travels internationally for business---I assume the large employer would have some kind of group international travel coverage.
Cost is not an issue.
Not sure when the employer's open enrollment takes place will be asking them to find out. Also advising them to see if there is any way they can still get on the employer plan, but if not....
Would prefer finding one of you who specializes in the short term market, licensed in CA.
Not someone who doesn't have the details down about limitations and exclusions, and like the places that are calling them now since they entered their info online who won't show policy details until after they sign up. Having taken training for STM, the carriers don't like that tactic.
