Should I Buy Adobe Acrobat or Creative Suite 6?

What are you trying to do with it? What do you mean by "converted"?

The BRM that the post office sent me in PDF format. I can't get it into my Microsoft publisher laid out onto the postcard. Any format I use to put into Publisher makes me need to resize and when that happens it distorts the barcode.

I am trying to print up my direct mail pieces, design them myself, etc.

Hunt,

I think you need adobe illustrator? Its part of the creative suite, adobe acrobat is for pdf files.

I remember on your other thread you mention it was a .eps file.

You definitely do not need Adobe Acrobat. If anything, you'll want Adobe Reader to view the PDF files, but that should be free. As mentioned above, Adobe Illustrator would be a better choice, or even InDesign. If your computer comes with Publisher, I would just work with the original Publisher files and then you won't be shelling out any additional cash. But the trials are certainly fun to work with!

Always look for free downloads of the things you want first before paying for them! This has always worked for me, of course, I always scan files for viruses and check the certificates first before downloading but I haven't had any issues yet (knock on wood). So, that being said, here is a website with a free adobe illustrator download: Download Adobe Illustrator free and a website with several other alternatives, most being free: 10 Best Alternatives To Adobe Illustrator | Onextrapixel - Web Design & Development Online Magazine

Hope this helps!

Get Nitro PDF... its the best!!! You can put your signatures on anything and also type on anything. I never have to print out any applications.
