Should lawyer be used for large claim?

He may well find that getting an attorney involved early on creates more hassle than it is worth and ends up putting less in his pocket.

Carriers become less responsive when claimants threaten legal action early on.

Whats the point in getting a lawyer for a property claim? If he can prove he had all the things that he claims were stolen, and they were properly insured, the claim should be no big deal.
