I was interested in other things, too. But, like most musicians, I'm pretty good at multitasking!
If you're a musician then you got all the chicks. I can't even play a radio. But I have done the dull part. L&S, Backline and stuff. Didn't matter what you sounded like. A few turns on the mixer knobs and I could make you sound sweet.

Cool! Seriously, a good sound man is often the most important guy in the show. I'm always very appreciative of the sound crew. They can make or break you!
(Pro tip - when you go to a live music venue, always try to sit as close as possible to the sound board. You're welcome.)

My mom was one of six brothers and sisters, my father one of five.
Somehow my brother and I ended up with 11 pairs of these in a variety of sizes. We had a blast with these things. I go to an area in town that has multiple bars <> with live music. One of my favorites usually has a sound guy moving around with some portable thingy. You can feel the vibe lower when he is not there.
I'm the kid in the back hitting on the girl while you two dorks are beating each other with sticks.
