That's all Im aware that they sell now...annuities.They aquired Equitable Life and Casualty and closed out their medicare book. I just canceled my med supp with them. Their website doesn't show they currently sell anything but annuities.
I hate that f*ckin' duck!!!People like the duck .
was just doing a quick search here on Silac and cancellation, came across your post and think youre still around. lol. They aquired Equitable Life and Casualty and closed out their medicare book. No . Let her call immediately and take her Silac off bank draft . Tell them to bill her quarterly .You want to do this so she’s not double drafted. Write new app and get approval for 9/1 . Once approved wait till she gets her new card and she can call and cancel any time in the next month . Actually she doesn’t even need to cancel it. It will self cancel after 30 day grace period expires .was just doing a quick search here on Silac and cancellation, came across your post and think youre still around. lol.
Just had a call from a 75 yr old female referral, she's on Silac Med Supp plan F. Premium through the roof, she's relatively healthy, just wet macro degen and two cholesterol meds, non smoker, good weight...didn't have the underwriting guide so called and Humana said not a problem on the wet MD....wasn't sure...no shots til Oct.
Checked other supps can take her from $463 month, to $162 on humana G, normally would do Aetna, and maybe still will but raw taste with them atm.
My question is when new plans effective, what's the best way to go about having her cancel Silac...just call and cancel or are they going to want new dec sheet, copy of new card, wet ink signature letter and all that?
