Check with BCBST regarding 1099 employees and realestate groups. Their S network usually beats UHC. The employer can make having the group coverage mandatory with the only allowed exception being spouse group coverage. You may also be able to convert some of the income to W-2 and set up a 125 plan. The employer can pay part of the premium and require some minimum production level.
