Turned 65 in March and have been covered under wife's employer plan. Got Medicare card late February with March 1 start date. Called employer and plan to remove March 1. Got dire Ted to Employer Supplement page because of a reimbursement package and signed up for PDP and Plan G with May 1 effective.
Went to Dr on JULY 8 and received a $466.00 bill because Medicare still showed me as covered under wife's plan. Called wife's plan again and turns out the hit the button to ENROLL me as of March 1.
A few phone calls and frustration later got it resolved and dr can resubmit the bill. Mow I understand the customer's frustrations better.
