I would be interested in the ball park income level of the responders. Also what you wind up selling, as some of these are probably going to be higher income than the typical FE mail drop homes.

I went through an affiliate program through marketing guru Joe Polish.

He's a big advocate of toll free prerecorded messages to solicit business.

It's $39 a month up to 5000 minutes (I think). The system tells you who calls, who hangs up, who leaves messages, as well as what number they call from.

You can set it up as one message, or have multiple messages set up (Med Supp, LTCi, FE, etc..) for prospects to navigate through.

I did this with my last FE mailer drop.

So I custom-designed a combo Med Supp/FE piece with a business reply card option AND a free 24-hour recorded hotline to listen to the pitch (they can press 2 for FE, and 3 for MedSupps) and leave their info if interested.

To date I have received 8 card back and ONLY 1 call (didn't leave a message). Granted there's probably a good week or two left to finish up the campaign to get better numbers.

If it were me I would just set up a robo dialer that way you aren't waiting on them to call you. Call them first!
