South Florida Cigna and Assurant

Any ideas on where to place my Assurant business? Thought I would migrate to Cigna local plus but hear that they may not pay commissions. Also hear that they will be using an EPO network.

Cigna announced yesterday that they will not be offering on exchange plans in FL period. So if you have On Exchange clients Cigna will not be an option.

If the client is bent on a PPO and it's what is in their best interests you maybe referring them to BCBS as that's the only carrier in FL that I know of that potentially will be offering PPO style plans for 2016.


However, me not being in bed with BCBS I don't know what their game plan is for 16.

I'm afraid of this happening with BX being the only PPO offering.

I believe Humana is offering their natl pos in some counties in SW FL.
