StarterCRM

I have been using gmail contact, calendar and tasks and it has helped me with managing about 1200 contacts.

Has anyone had any experience with StarterCRM, and if so, can you recommend this contact manager? Jim

I just tried it. I have one Windows laptop for business and everything else is Linux. I have no problems running many things in the cloud via browsers from any computer/OS (I like redundancy since I have had stuff crash over the years).

However, the StarterCRM contact manager module uses Silverlight. Therefore, Moonlight/MONO must be used on Linux, which did not work, and is therefore a dealbreaker, at least for me. YMMV

I did not try it under Windows, since I don't want to be tied to that OS or computer. I've demo'd many cloud CRMs and have never run into this problem before.

The screenshots look good, the features are broad, it looks like it would be a good system, and reasonably priced. But no-go on Linux, at least for me.

I'm also looking at StarterCRM...comparing it to RadiusBob and a couple others. I like the price -- $15/mo and features. Did you (davisgroup) try it? If so, what do you think?
