Still researching the best way of getting into this business...while I like the idea of NYLife training et al, my goal is to have my own business...and to increase my odds of success, I think it's best I obtain training
That being said, an IA near me is looking for someone ... they appear to be extremely professional and have been around for decades.
My question is...working for an agency like this...the agency typically keeps what % of the commission? I'm trying to understand the premium I will be paying for the training and overhead they will offer.
And...are there any guidelines I should be aware of when evaluating their offer of employment package? Do IA typically offer a benefits package or am I strictly an independent contractor?
Thank you. They list 30-60k salary plus commission but I'm guessing this is probably a draw.
