Is there a database that provides information on new forming corporations or does anyone a good way to find new companies forming?

I know a relationship with a banker and attorney are good but looking for a list.

Yes there is a list. I know because I've rec'd insurance solicitations for corps that I've opened right after I open them. I don't know where to find that list but I'm sure if you call some direct mail companies they will have it. Or your local library.

Not a bad idea but do you really want to go after new ventures?

I agree it's not the best risk but depending on the type of business and good upfront underwriting they can be. Also have carriers that take them.

What do you mean my StartUps? Are you looking for small new local companies or businesses with a Tech focus?

AngelList.co is a great site that you can research tons of startups and established companies from across the country. It's built for would be investors and StartUp's who are looking to raise capital but it's listing is really complete and could be a nice prospecting tool if used correctly.

There is also another site called "Gust" that is similar; however, their listing is not as readily available to the public.

If your looking for new businesses who are starting out in the traditional sense your local business journal is a good place to find these types of companies.
