State Farm + ObamaCare?

I am interested to hear from State Farm Agents who will be selling ObamaCare policies, in conjunction with Blue Cross Blue Shield. What is your opinion on the news? Is this a positive thing that will boost your bottom line? Or might it be a drag on your brand?

What "news" are you speaking about? I know State Farm has Assurant now, but is the "news" that they can now sell Blue Cross in every state???

S.B.Karren refers to the HCSC (BCBS of IL/TX/NM/OK/MT) announcement today that State Farm agents will sell BCBS this coming open-enrollment.

BCBS-IL now has a 92% market-share, after shredding the "competition" during 2014 open enrollment. I guess that's not enough, LOL.

Never heard of it, I do know Florida Farm Bureau has sold BC policy's forever and will continue. If State Farm is in the game now they will hate it just like the Farm Bureau agents I know, in fact we have a couple refer to our office. They just show up for the seminar's because they are told they have to.

I don't believe Assurant would allow it.

I suppose I will find out tomorrow at the seminar.
