State Farm Tripled Our Rate

Re: State Farm Tripled Our Rate.

Horrible idea for your client in the long run. You get approximately 5% off every three years w/ companies w/ a max of 9-10 years and accident free discounts that could wave multiple surchargeable accidents.

Your job is to protect people from the unexpected. Shopping them every three years leaves them exposed.

Young grasshopper, are so wrong......

You should shop the client at least every other year, show them the rates, inform them the results of moving often etc. It shows the client you are looking out for them,

Let me guess, after you write a client, they never hear from you again!

Goal is to review all policies every 2-3 years. If they don't come in for the appointment that's not my fault.

And for the record, I'm no grasshopper. Thousands of auto policies in different markets w/ different companies (I had to move a few times due to life). Captive and Indy.

All moving them does is give you a higher new business commish. That's not their best interest.

You need to contact an independent broker and ask them to quote it for you. Michigan is a PIP state and most carriers do not want to be part of it.

UMMMMMM, usually, if you move them, its because it is cheaper for them, which in turn means LESS Commission,:no::swoon::goofy:
