Staying Appointed With Fe Companies

No I would not call and email anyone constantly.
I have since discovered my entire team was terminated, including one Manager who sold 500,000 last year! So it had nothing to do with production. This will save the insurance company a lot of money in renewals. And they did it because they could.

I wonder how agents can protect themselves against that?

If you are dropped by the company you still get renewals. Unless you owe them a lot of money or are flipping business.

I bet your upline was flipping business in large volumes. That's a huge problem in some agencies.

Last year Assurant cancelled my IMO'S. Contract, The problem was it was connected to my E&O. I called Assurant and just got a direct contract, saving my E&O.

You don't.

You need to get out there and knock some doors, do a mailer, buy some telemarketed leads.....do something to get yourself in-front of people. There's really no "build up." Find a prospect, set an appointment, and (hopefully) make a sale.

If you need to get re-contracted feel free to give me a call, but you need to be committed to get out and make it happen.

Congratulations, you just outlined great examples of activities that lead to sales aka "build up" to sales. I won't be needing your help with anything.

None of those apply to me. I can't speak for my upline.

I think it has to do with the fact they were paid in advance.

Let me ask it straight out. Were/are you a pain in the assignment that calls and emails constantly and does not produce? Not saying you are just asking.

Thanks for your concern. None of that applies to me.
