okay, that's true .... I don't really know? I didn't like it ... i like being able to offer more than one company for lots of reasons and it seems to me that there are plenty of brokers on this board that would take you in and train you and help you with leads etc ... that is what i did after two weeks of soley captive and I shot out like a cannon ... when i tried to go captive, it was so much information and products and all the cold calling and door knocking and their crappy leads ... ugh .. it wasn't worth it ... if I hadn't gone through a broker, I'd be back in my truck right now hauling god knows what across the country. Just my experience. But I'm new and I've never really done a long term captive employment gig ... so i'm not an expert ... not by any means.

so Jody, how do you find one that is not captive who is willing to train like a captive agency?

I don't know if you are inquiring from me or joking ...
but if you are inquiring, and you or someone you know or someone who is reading this is new, it helped me to focus on one product and sell it and it only .... this makes it so you don't need a whole lot of training ... i was trained for a day and half and from there I was on my own ... I did FE and it's so freaking simple that anyone can do it if they are willing to work hard ... I go out for 14 hours a day ... I work it and even though I was new, I have sold over 200 policies in six months.
There is no trick to it.
i've found it really just comes down to working hard and having the right products ... and knowing your product ...you can become an expert on FE in like a week ...
there are many guys on here who can give you the right product ... right? Anyone?
