While fact finding is important, there is always the paranoia that they made the wrong decision. I have seen people dis enroll only later to find out they had orig made the correct decision and regret calling Medicare.

If you are calling Medicare and they seem to not know their own rules, it might help to refer them to the guide to pffs. It details all of the dis-enrollment guidelines.

Could you give us an example of the reason your client wanted to stay on a PFFS? I have not had those problems. If they are cancelling it is because they want thier med supp back. I cannot think of a reason they would not want to cancel nor have a ran into that situation.
