Does anyone have experience with the new synergyvoicesolutions.com lead program? I had read a few good things on here before they made the change to selling minutes. Now its more of an auto-dialer program which people on here seem to think is worthless. Please let me know what you think and more importantly if you have any experience with this page. I was just about ready to buy some leads from him but then the new minute program came into being and it doesn't seem like a good idea to me from what I know. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response. I agree that it is better than a transfer, they broadcast the message and then send you the messages that are left. They charge $0.02 per minute and you have to buy $250 at a time. He claims there are usually 70-100 responses per purchase. He has several messages to chose from but I am doubtful some (like the annuity one) would work very well.

Here is my $250 experience. My target area was for Life leads……….70 to 100 responses... really???…… Each time the dialer, dials a random number, One of Three things happen..... #1 the person on the other end picks up the phone, and hangs up, you get a 3 second WAV of person hanging up, #2 you get some one telling you in colorful language to not call again, and #3 pure luck someone is actually interested. For my 250 bucks I received a total of 30 three second WAV ( people just hanging up )....6 messages that were over 10 seconds long, of these 3 had some actual interest, of these 3, one is dead, and I am chasing the other TWO down. I still have a 56.27 worth of usage left, and I am wondering when I am going to finish up to put this behind me, or is that going to be a credited to my account, so I have to order more. Otherwise I am out $56.27. Of course I was told it depends on the area I am working on. I did make a mistake of only using 1 county, but then increased it to 4 more counties. The counties are in the most densely populated state in the USA, NJ. ……… The following in quotes response was in my email. "Please keep in mind that results as far as leads go depends on several factors including the area(s) you're working and the amount of numbers in the area. Giving us the maximum amount of areas you're willing to work, at time of order, or giving us more areas as the campaign is running, helps to insure that we get you the best response possible." I guess I better target a more populated area, maybe CHINA to get 70 to 100 responses. Of course those 70-100 responses will get you 65 to 95 3 second WAV aka people hanging up.

Thanks
Jerry
ps this is my very first post.

I would be curious to know....

What did the message say?

Male voice, or Female voice?

What was your specific product that was advertised?

Who were you calling, what Demographic?

What time of the day? What days?

Business or Residential?

I'm also looking into dialer live transfers.

Mark, from the way I read those regulations they are already in effect. Where are the new laws that are supposed to become effective in September? Did I miss something?

Thanks so much for all the responses from you guys. It seems pretty clear to me that there are much better things to do with $250. Regardless of the laws (which would nick it further) this method doesn't seem to efficient. Keep up the discussion :)

I wanted to add to this list of questions.

What was the cost per dial for your leads?

I know you said it was 2 cents a minute. How was that billed?

It makes a huge difference if you are billed on a 60/60 60/30, or a 30/30, vs a 30/6 15/6 or a 6/6.

With a 60/60, you get charged for the first 60 seconds minimum, even if the call was 3 seconds, then in 60 second increments from there. A 63 second, you would be billed for 2 minutes.

60/30 is the same thing, only in 30 second increments. You would be billed 1.5 minutes for a 63 second call.

Because a large percentage of these calls are hang ups, you need to look for a dialer that charges you on a 6/6 basis.

Also ask if they round down, or up on their seconds.

A 6/6 dialer charges you in 6 seconds increments, if they do a round down billing, a 11 second call will cost you 6 seconds.

That's huge when 80% of your calls are hang ups with in the first 10 seconds.

It's better to go with a company that charges 10 cents a minute with a 6/6 round down billing, than use a company that does a 60/60, 30/30, 30/15 billing with a 2 cent per minute cost.

The following is assuming a 10 second hang up call.

A company that charges you a 30/15 billing at 2 cents a minute would cost you $2 for 100 calls.

A company that charges you a 6/6 round down billing at 10 cents a minute, you would get 200 calls for the same $2.

I think per transfer makes much more since but this is my guess. I have not worked with a broadcast yet!!

The law mentioned earlier was the Do Not Call law of October 2004. This law brought me to my knees back then when I was a Financial Advisor.
