I'm reading the book, The New Health Insurance Solution, and on page 114 it states that when this book was being written, there was a proposal in congress, to allow family's making less than $25,000 a year a $2000 annual tax credit (not a deduction)for the premium on an HSA qualified health plan.
I'm guessing since thats the first I have heard of that, that it never happened. Any one know why?
Great book by the way. Some one from this board recommended it to me. I recommend that any agent starting out should read this book before getting into the business. Every thing you need to know is basically laid out in this book!
