I seem to recall that something like 80% of folks with the HDHP fail to fund their HSA. This is really not surprising.
In all reality the person can only transfer from their IRA only the amount no greater then their yearly deductible of their HDHP, and that is only once. So we are not talking a large amount of money but hopefully enough to increase the max funding of the HSA itself.
