Telemarketing FE

No special script, just call and tell them you want to tell them you want to see if they want some information about a final expense life plan that pays for funeral costs and other things. My data is broke out mostly by county. I change counties when I want to see something different.

Be nice, considerate and move on if they are not interested. No reason to beat a dead horse. The key is to stay with it.

Today was dialer day. Was on for 172 minutes and set 4 solid appointments for tomorrow.

Not too shabby for three hrs of dialing! Would you say these are typical results for you? Is it true cold calling - off your basic scrubbed list of names and phone numbers?

i am not a telemarketer, but for 15 years i have worked with them - 25,486 - as of this morning. after lurking on this forum for 7 months and noticing the interest in telemarketing for insurance from a lot of agents, i started checking my own data. and the one common thread i see, so far is, what insureitnow just posted. tweak this, tweak that, sure. of course. the key is persitence. imho. the number one rep we have, took her a year to even be average. but everyone knows about her determination. she is always in the top 3 out of eighty-plus agent week in and week out for almost 5 years now.

News Flash!!!
I just recieved a notice from Oxford Life that the state of Kentucky has just banned ALL sales of insurance in the state if the agent is not there in the room witnessing the applicant's signature.
This is no joke.
If any of you have any big deals pending in KY I will be happy to ASSIST you.
