Telephone Prospecting FE

I'm sure you are joking, but this is actaully a very tough business. The marketers try to portray selling FE as easy money. It's anything but.

And just when you start to think that it's easy, it kicks your butt again to keep you humble...
 
If you are getting al that info up front you should go ahead and sell it over the phone.

If you intend to meet face to face with them you are getting way too mch info over the phone.

Looks like you need to decide which route you are going. Telemarketing or face to face?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to sell FE over the phone; but, how do you get the bank draft? Don't you need a signed voided check?

Until I can figure the (important) technicalities I figure I'll just go for setting appointments.

Which FE products are best suited for the phone btw....

You're asking the wrong person here. I don't sell by phone. Strictly face to face. I think selling FE by phone is nothing but fool's gold.

I was originally replying that, if you are going to get that much info on the phone up front, you might as well close the whole deal. If your goal is to just get in front of them, {which is my only goal on the phone}, you are getting into too much discussion. "The more you tell, the less you sell".

Nope, you don't with most of the companies that do business over the phone.

Just the banking info and a voice signature.

Lincoln Heritage and Senior Life over the phone have been very good for me.

I now use a thorough two-call approach, and I've never been (a) more relaxed or (b) more successful. I've also never gotten as many referrals as I get now.

Are you doing FIRST CALL -Set the Appt, SECOND CALL (The in person appointment where you close
