Tell Your Senators to Exclude Independent Agents from the Recording Requirements

They're a lobbying arm.

When I was with SSA, we had a lobbying are too. Annually we'd go to DC and meet with members of Congress and even Testify in session.

Lobbying is important. It doesn't mean you'll get what you want, but no one knows the issue if it's never spoken directly.

1000% this. It’s very important that we agents have a voice in D.C. Whether people like politics or the dynamics behind it, or not, is irrelevant.

The fact of the matter is, our jobs and the well-being of our clients are VERY political and VERY dependent on politicians….many of which are absolute idiots.

We have to have a huge voice in D.C. It ensures the issues of our clients and the issues of us agents are being heard and understood and can be properly addressed.

I also hate to point out the elephant in the room, but Democrats…….not very fond of us our insurance at all. So when you vote, this key piece of information should be in the forefront of you and your families minds.

At the end of the day, politics in this country is what it is. You have to play the game and have a large voice and large numbers to back us up. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. It just is what it is.
