I have not posted in a while as I have been too stressed.
First off I do not work for Nation Wide Insurance, NWInsurance stands for North West, as in the Pacific NW.
At any rate I am a captive P&C Agency Owner for one of the larger players.
Unfortunately I have found myself in the situation of having to close my doors. It seems that having started about 2 years ago I just was not large enough at this point to withstand the storm that is approaching.
As I speak to other agents, (with my company and others) it seems like more and more guys (and gals) are going further and further into debt trying to wait this whole thing out.
At the end of the day we all can at least learn from our mistakes and move forward.
I was wondering if anyone knew of some good companies to at least get appointed with for Life, so I can at least do something with my license.
I am looking to get back into the "real world" and do outside sales or something so that I can lick my wounds and pay back some debt.
I figured there may be some companies that you could get appointed with though without being a "full time" agent.
Thanks
