Meanwhile, in the Northeast USA ... it's fine.

Not saying it doesn't suck, but that happens for literally months at a time on the west coast.

Hoping that the wet winter gives us some relief this year.

Thankfully we've had no real rain in over a month, so the grass is dead. I'd sure hate to have to out and mow the lawn in this stuff.

Who said climate change didn't have an upside?

We just got done with one of our worst winters but now we actually have a spring which I haven't seen in years. The weather is perfect.

We used to go directly from winter into summer (and then "fire season", which is actually a term out this way) so it's been a nice break. I can't keep up w/ climate change anymore...just carry enough clothes for any condition at this point.

It's fun trying to keep a yard in a desert. 500/mo water bills and it still looks bad. I'm putting in rock and a putting green next year. The grass isn't worth it.

I have a neighbor who seeded his lawn with clover. It is the only yard that looks good right now in the whole neighborhood because it is covered in uniform blooms.

Every one else spent aroun $500 to poison their yards to make sure the clover doesn;'t grow.

The best part is this: He doesn't ever have to mow because clover only gets so big, and then blooms, and honestly, it looks great,
