Blame it on Medicare.gov

Luckily in this case they saw the prices themselves during the appointment and we even wrote them down on a piece of sticky, otherwise I would sound like I didn't know what I was doing.

Lesson learned: when something on Medicare.gov does not make sense, tell them that and say you need time to confirm; and if you can, avoid the site on weekends.

And if you see something really screwy on drug prices, check goodrx.com. If they aren't close, switch browsers and start again.

My comment wasn't totally tongue in cheek. Mcare.gov is mostly reliable but not without fault.

When this happens, I just log off for a few days. After a few days, the numbers then look normal.

That how long it takes for the hydrocodone and oxycodone to wear off?
