The New Non-Tax for Health Reform

P*ss take and a half.
C'mon, who is kidding? He was less than half supported, what; a month ago. What are the numbers like now? Where's the latest pole. I know where it's headed. Up the Kenyan's tail pipe.
Can't happen soon enough. I'm baboon with a h*rd on. I can not wait for this to reach critical mass.

I actually agree with Bo Bo on taxing soft drinks but I think it should be a state tax that goes to the states and not the Federal socialistic agenda.

But why? Sugar? Puleez. Eating meat is far more harmful to one's health than sugary drinks, and cows are huge offenders as far as environmental pollution.

Wasn't is our fair leader who keeps taking his daughters to ice cream shops? Why not tax ice cream?

Geez. Talk about clueless.

You guys know it has nothing to do with providing better health care while at the same time controlling costs.

It's all about more Fed control. Taxing wherever and whatever is their panacea.

How about we just tax the food consumed by the 2 MILLION Americans who are weigh over 500 pounds? And their enablers, who must also number nearly 2 MILLION, because many people who weigh more than 500 pounds can't get around?

Okay but for what purpose. He says repeatedly that his health plan would be revenue neutral so why would he need to tax soft drinks for that then? Lord knows funds are needed everywhere because we have expenses and porkulus everywhere but we should identify the purpose so that the voter can consider it in that light versus "we won't need to raise taxes for health reform because it will be revenue-neutral but, oh by the way, soft drinks would be a good think to tax." What's wrong with that picture class?

Yeh. Love that old porker on TV in the ad for Liberty whatever diabetic supplies.

He sits there and says "Ahh have everything I need right here in this box to control mah diahbetazz." Yeh, how about you lose them there ninety pounds just south of that box you are holding and then you might be controlling your diahbetazz.

Mr. Bill unfortunately the trend is against your thinking. A person needs to have those extra pounds in order to qualify for the gastric bypass under the guaranteed issue insurance so if you do anything on your own to reduce your weight you won't qualify because it leads doctors and others to believe that some portion of your condition can be controlled by you. You may laugh white boy but there are at least two gals at church who update us every week on the progress from their guaranteed issue gastric bypasses. One of them told me her weakness was Wheat Chex or some kind of party mix with a name like that. I guess a few boxes of those a day add up. C'mon show some compassion here you heartless bastard.

Environmental pollution my b*lls!?!?!
Animals have been taking a dump on the sod long before we were ever here and will be long after.
Nobody's going to tell me that that rot gut Cocoa Cola is less harmful than a frigg'n grilled piece of meat!?!?!
Yeah, that adds up? Drink this factory created, carbonated, dehydrogenated, mono sum glutamated donkey urine cause its healthier than eating a piece of meat that's was cooked over an open flame? Not like people have been doing that since since the dawn of time …?
I mean I've just about had it.
Can't drink, can't smoke dope, gotta exercise, but that's not enough. Now they wanna take away my sirloin?
F that. Cows are delicious. From my cold dead hands baby … you hear me? From my cold dead hands!!!

"One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. Most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can't afford it."

-Ronald Reagan

Reagan said this in 1961 before he ever ran for office.
Still ringing true today.
