I thought I had an easy approval on a Foresters final expense today, completed the phone interview and was told that he was ineligible due to taking plavix-it was my fault as I did not think that it was on the drug list but it must be.
Here is my question if any FE expert can help: Male nt age 69 diabetic (takes about 30 units of insulin per day) has sleep apnea, had stroke in 2002 and had a vein surgery in his leg to improve circulation (has not had nueuropothy or diabetic complications). No other surgeries in the last 4 years. Was put in plavix in December according to the client "because my sugar went really low and they thought I had had a stroke but they later confirmed that I had not and the plavix is to help my circulation" if that makes any sense.
I talked to Mon underwriting and they said that the plavix was a problem because you "aren't just put on plavix it is normally due to congestive heart failure, heart surgery ect."
Will any FE company take him on an immediate death benefit?
