The Polls Do NOT Reflect what I See Here in Florida

Trump is the response of American people who recognize that the political ruling class have screwed up the country, and that Washington needs a house cleaning.

With Hillary you get more of the same mess that got us here.

With Trump you get an outsider who knows how to fire people who don't do their job.

Of course Democrats don't acknowledge that there is a mess, unless it's to blame it on Republicans.

Got us here, where are we?

Are you worse off than you were last year, 4 years ago, 8 years ago? How many people do you know who are worse for the Obama years?

Anyone who might have to be responsible for paying back the national debt.

We can agree that that would not have a major impact on the free-shiite-for-everyone crowd. Also known as Democrats.

Ok, so Trump is the clear. No wonder he wants to increase the debt by 6.8 trillion - not his problem.

Do you think the right would be screaming about 20 trillion of debt if the US had a steady 5%+ GDP, unemployment less than 5% and zero trade deficit?

No one is disillusioned about the debt increasing under Trump, but by the same token there is optimism regarding offsetting factors.

I don't think optimism is the right word for either Clinton or Trump.

Unemployment is at 5%, a steady 5% GDP is a tall order and considering most growth done on paper it's not likely to impact working and middle class Americans (education is the key in this economy), and zero trade deficit, how do you get there? Although exporting natural gas can help.

There is a large demographic of 'economically challenged' people in the rural areas and smaller towns in FL. Most of these are the low-info people that are solidly part of the Trump base. You see them at the rallies. My guess is that they were paid a few bucks or given a bottle of wine to hold the signs and were given the costumes.

(That's not to say that there aren't well-dressed, affluent people at the rallies as well, but the majority seem to be old, fat, balding, unkempt, Duck Dynasty guys yelling "kill the b--ch.")

I have to wonder that since the people you are talking with are buying FE and were not responsible enough in their lives to save up at least a few grand to have themselves buried, I wonder if they were responsible enough to register and if they will be responsible enough to put down the bottle of cheap wine and go vote.

I believe that if DT has a good ground operation which will get these people to the polls that Florida will be very close. Otherwise, there just are not enough "deplorables" to give DT a plurality, much less a majority in the four-candidate race.

(And yes you will rant and rave and call me an elitist East coast arrogant New York snob... or worse... and that's fine. New Yorkers are a tough lot... you gotta be to survive in the Big Apple. Whatever you call me I've had a DI who has called me worse!)

Nope, I just love that we "put down the bottle" and voted... and sent the most corrupt politician in US history, packing...
