The Socialist Agenda

Oh heck you've just got to wonder. How long will the language used in this document remain the same - I bet it is changed before Monday.

I went to the "Inheriting a Legacy of Misplaced Priorities" and it is mind-blowing! Absolutely crazyville. Makes me wonder whether BlowUpBillAyers wrote it!

Yeah, I bet Bill Gates feels really really guilty about having all that money, having spawned Microsoft and all. And Warren Buffet, yeah, he pays a lower percentage of income tax than his secretary (does that mean she'll get a pay increase? Hell no!) Steve Jobs is hating the Apple and the Mac. Yeah, creativity and capitalism really sucks. I am still thankful, though, that AlGore invented the internet!

And the reason I say all this will be changed by Monday? Obama now thinks the current "crisis" isn't as bad as "we" think!!!

Obama: Economic crisis 'not as bad as we think'

At least they kept NASA in the "plan", as they let the last head go, although he pretty much begged to remain, his wife sure did, and he hasn't been replaced.

Obama is playing the people like the keys on a piano. The sky is falling when he wants legislation passed. Then he wants optimism when it has passed because he knows that consumer confidence is key to the recovery and he wants his plan to work. Where this is going to fall apart (or continue to fall apart) is when Pelosi tells him that we need Stimulus II. In order to get that passed he will need to go back into chicken little mode. People are just going to say WTF- just give me a thousand dollars out of the stimulus money and I will buy some bottled water and canned goods and ride it out.

The thing that is absurd of course is what the hell does Obama know about the economy or anything in the business world. Last week Obama was giving stock advice telling people to get back into the market. Gee, Barry, what do you think about changing the selling short uptick rule and the mark-to-market rule based on your extensive experience?

Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before."
So said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in November, and Democrats in Congress are certainly taking his advice to heart. The 647-page, $825 billion House legislation is being sold as an economic "stimulus," but now that Democrats have finally released the details we understand Rahm's point much better. This is a political wonder that manages to spend money on just about every pent-up Democratic proposal of the last 40 years.
