The VIN is in the Details

Just a question for you: how important is the VIN when it comes to auto leads? And the auto X-Date for that matter. Is it better to have to pay per lead? Or is unlimited auto leads more attractive?

The reason I ask is Cole X-Dates now offers that information.

Does it make for a quicker, more accurate quote?

Or does it matter?

I would never pay for a lead but to answer your question... no, it doesn't matter.

mostly from referrals and my website gets a few leads as well.

I won't buy leads simply because I've read too many horror stories on here from agents being ripped off and/or the quality of leads getting worse.

But as far as VIN's, some carriers pick up the vin anyways when quoting.
