Want to and have to are two differrent things.

I would not want to retire under the specter of a U.S. dollar worth pennies.

And the result? Asswipes who never saved a dime in their lives will see the benefit while the money I paid in will go elsewhere because I have saved. Let me repeat, this really pisses me off.

THis is just one more way to "redistribute the wealth" like socialists tend to do. Redistribute your social security. Redistribute health care. Redistribute your tax money. It's like they think they are under a robin hood philosophy... steal from the middle class and rich, and give it to the poor.

The problem is that they keep expanding the number of poor, and the depths of poverty, with government programs designed to keep people in that situation.

It's more important to give people and incentive to earn a living of their own than to keep handing them a free living.
