TN Med Supp for Under 65

In Missouri all the companies I represent offer a Med Supp to people who are on SS disability after the two year waiting period.

I don't know about TN but I would suggest you call the DOI and ask them. You might also call Continental Life in Brentwood, TN and ask for Georgia in marketing. She is a sweetheart and has been a big help to me. 800.445.4254

Tell her Frank suggested you call her. I don't think she will hangup on you when you tell her I said to call.:D

It appears that TN does not have legislation requiring companies to serve the under 65 market with med supps. So, I'm having a devil of a time finding one who does....

FYI, Continental Life / Genworth does NOT.

In years past, BCBST and UHC did -- neither does now.

In case anyone looks at this thread later, the DOI told me that only UA currently serves the under 65 market here in TN.

In speaking with UA, they only offer B and high deduct F. Medical u/w is tough to say the least. Neither of my current clients will come close to qualifying. It's a shame...

How do y'all figure the premiums up there...with an abacus?:D

I think it's about time I break down and go on and get me one of them thar abacuseses. It' starting to be embarrassin when I have to take my shoes and socks off in front of the client to figure rates. :embarrassed:

I thought about purchasing on of them fancy calkulaters, but I got to thinkin, "Now what if I had to do some figuring up there at Billy Jay's place or over at Anna Mae's, there ain't no place to plug it in"! :nah:

See, now that's why I need the abacus...You can hook them up to the car battry can't ya?
