I believe that all states have to release their exchange rates by COB today, 7/31?

Today is also the day that PCORI fees are due for plan years ending between 10/1/12 and 12/31/12. Non-fully insured, of course.

By "deadline for approval", you mean they have to finalize their approval/denial of submitted rates, not actually release the information, correct?

Rates will not be known for FFE states until September. Submitted to HHS, does not mean approved or final

I just called the Florida OIR and was told a news release will be posted on their site (floir.com) at "about 5PM" with a link to the rates.

I doubt it very much. How many times have you called Florida OIR and received the wrong information? Remember these are state employee's and tell you something to get your butt off the phone so they can go back on their break.

Imagine that they missed a timeline....Granted it is just one they mentioned to you but they couldn't even meet something they plannned to post a couple hours later in the day.
