Top "3" Auto Insurance Companies in Southern Cal You'd Go With?

Re: Top "3" Auto Insurance Companies in Southern Cal YOU'D Go Wit

If you have a good agent, the insurance company shouldn't matter. I feel I have a service that I can offer no matter what insurance company you choose to do business with. That is the joy of being an independent agent. I would think that very few companies are so bad that you should stay away from them.

I was with Allstate for 10 years and was very happy with their service over the years, only had to file a claim once when some punk hit my RX 7 and took off.My premium gradually increased then a friend from church recommended Wawanesa,I have been covered with them the last 3 years and I saved at least 1000 annually on premium with the same high end limits.I have recommended a few peeps since then too bad they dont kick out referral fees lol. :goofy:

Ouch, FD or FC? Whereabouts California are you from? My friend just got his FD stolen a few weeks ago... Those cars are so hard to find nowadays, in good condition at least...

Emery - Can you elaborate a little more on what you mean by that? I mean, I would think the company is extremely important - as they are the ones who calculate vehicle values in cases of total loss, and we all know how much that can vary from co to co... Also, how well claims are paid out... What things are covered.. How they rate certain areas/cars/ages... I mean all these things and more are solely up to the company, not the agent..

Not busting your balls, just trying understand your point of view....

xcslx - I am trying to say that I trust any of the companies that I write business through. If for some reason a customer doesn't like one of them I feel confident that any one of the other companies will be a good option. If I didn't like a certain company and it's policies they offer I wouldn't try to sell it. I feel this is one great thing about being an independent agent.
I have never had a customer that has been displeased with their claims or service from an insurance company (knock on wood). Maybe I am just lucky but things have gone well for me so far.
My very first claim was a girl who was at the dmv parking lot about to take her drivers license test. She had the instructor in the car and hit two cars in the parking lot. Needless to say she didn't get her license. The experience was good for me as an agent to understand the claims process.
Feel free to disagree with me on this. It's an open forum and my feelings won't be hurt. I'm just putting forth my point of view.
