I have a 58 year old smoker who needs a $100,000 anyway he can get it. He is healthy other then a melanoma of skin that was removed a little over 5 years ago, no problems since. An agent friend of mine tried to write him with the real NYL. When they were requesting more information on his cancer, they could never find his records because the doctor that did the procedure retired or died or something and its been lost basically. I have made a couple calls to underwriters and people wont accept a case like this on a non-med basis, because they too would want more info on the cancer. The other problem that could possible come up is he does now technically have a MIB hit from NYL as of about 4-5 months ago. Any suggestions out there? Are there any FE products that do term riders? Who has the biggest FE face amount out there? Im open to anything. thanks

Is their anyway he can go have a checkup and let a doctor exam him and make sure the cancer is gone? This way, they can order an aps and find out the cancer is gone.

Yeah, as an underwriter that would definitely sound shady considering other crap agents probably have tried to pull. Underwriters don't like uncertainty.

Have an oncologist or dermatologist talk to him and see what is going on like Mark said. A doctor isn't going to give information if they think they are wrong so if they say he is clean, he is definitely clean.

The MIB hit can easily be explained in a cover letter to the underwriter saying that the life insurance wasn't purchased due to the issue you just addressed. It's 3-4 hits for different things that cause a problem, this would be easily rectified with a specialist copay.

American Memorial only goes up to $75K. That premium (Preferred), is $363.08 per month.

Another $25K with RNA would be $89.61 per month.
