37 female n/s severe ptsd from Afghanistan. She just became a mother for first time looking for simplified term. Still in counseling and on 100% disability from the military. All kinds of meds to keep her level.

I am asking the following questions because I don't know the answers.
Did she have a life policy while on active duty and deployed?
Is/was that policy portable?
How long ago was the deployment?
Can a claim be made against that policy or is the disability the payoff?
I'd start with stacking a few guarantee issue policies at least to get coverage as you look for something less expensive but doubt I would look at term.
