Which companies offer live transfers similar to the ones PZ offers. I'm looking for the kind that's an internet lead turned into a transfer. NOT the voice broadcasting kind.

I believe Insuranceleads.com offers hot transfers...Leadpod.net will take leads you purchase from other vendors and call them 9 times in the first 7 days if they reach someone they will verify that the person is the one who requested information and if they are willing to speak with a Licensed Agent now and then transfer them to you for $10... thats www.leadpod.net I have liked the service so far mainly for the lack of aggrivation of dealing with some of the crappy netquote leads I haven't had to call...they offer a referral program of $50 for a referring agent if you mention my name...Do or don't doesn't matter.

Insuranceleads.com does indeed offer hot transfers, but you should really work more than one state if you want any volume. I've had them on for about two months now and have gotten...

...

...

...

...one. And they're on from 10:00 - 12:00, and then 3:00 - 6:00 Monday-Friday for the whole state of Georgia. (The times and days are my setting - you can have them on whenever you want so long as it's during hours the call center is staffed, and I'm pretty sure they're in California).

And no, I didn't sell that one.

Nick, first sorry I shortened you post...I haven't gotten any transfers from them yet either however I only give them 4 hours a week...The thing that intetersted me is that they are calling shared leads they sold to someone else and if they get the person on the phone and transfer I only pay $5 more than the other person and I am actually talking to a real human....but like you pointed out you don't get many calls.

Also, when InsuranceLeads.com calls the client, it's YOUR phone number that shows up on the lead's caller ID. It adds a bit of credibility, which is nice.

Funny they did not mention that to me....too bad there wasn't a way to test that.

Thanks everyone for the input. If I try that leadpod I will definitely use your name Norway.
Now for clarification here, the insuranceleads.com hot transfers are $5.00 more than a normal lead but still sold to a few agents before you ever recieve the transfer or lead? Or are they calling leads you have already purchased from them and trying to reach them for you after the fact similar to the leadpod?

Nick, did you ask about that feature or did your rep bring it up?

Neither, actually. An InsuranceLeads.com rep called the lead, but the lead was busy at the time and said they'd call back. When he called back, he just called the number that had showed up on the caller ID - which was my number. The lead called my number and got me directly, told me he had just been called by someone who introduced herself as "a representative of Nick Perry, the licensed agent assigned to your quote request" and we started talking. He eventually turned into a be-back and I lost him.

I'm going to copy and paste into the rest of this post a back-and-forth I had with my customer service rep at InsuranceLeads.com before I signed up for the transfers.

Me, to my rep:

Okay, with the leads I get now:
1. Someone goes to 2insure4less.com or an affiliate and enters their information.
2. That information is sent to me and 5-7 other agents so long as it fits my filters. No operator ever tries to call these leads.
3. The other agents and I all face off in a cage-match sort of thing

With a live transfer:
1. Someone goes to 2insure4less.com or an affiliate and enters their information.
2. They are randomly selected to be called by a live operator. If they express interest, they're transferred to me. The information they entered isn't sent out to other agents as a normal lead.
3. I get rich.

The two things I'm wondering most about are points two in each: with the leads I get now, are operators trying to contact them before sending them my way? And if the lead is selected to be called and transferred, no other agent will get that lead's information, yes?

My rep's response:

Hahaha.

Well the data leads it's not as bad as you have described:
1. Mostly interested prospects go online (not necessarily to 2insure4less.com…we have many websites)
2. Their information is being sent to no more than 8 agents. BUT, in your area it's an average of 2.
3. We do verify their information by servers; however, there is no way to personally contact over 15,000 new registrations every day.
4. You do compete with other agents. But then again ask yourself.. "how good of a sales person am I?" ;)

With Live-Transfer:
1. Our operators call random prospects/or the prospect calls into our company.
2. We verify their interest over the phone.
a. We match them to your criteria (filters)
3. We transfer him/her directly to your land line phone within a certain time frame you provide.
4. After we transfer them over to you that lead is no longer available for anyone else.
5. You do get rich. If you know how to sell your stuff :)

I really like my rep, by the way. If you're thinking of signing up with InsuranceLeads.com, PM me and I'll give you her extension so you can get her. She rocks.

Later, we had a phone conversation about a few things. I don't remember her exact words, but I asked and she told me that if an agent receives a hot transfer, then that agent is the ONLY person to receive that lead's information. It is NOT sold to other agents as a shared lead.
