I am agent in Ny and working with a broker for 3 years. I have built my book and now ready to open my own.

If the master agency in your area is not responsive... you should look elsewhere. The SIAA business model is ok but if your local master agency is sloppy it is hard to succeed.

I wanted to join SIAA, but the SIAA MA that is responsible for my area is very slow in responding and forgets to call me back. Even ignores my emails until i call and leave messages then i get through once.

I decided to not go with them because i didnt want to deal with this kind of communication if i were to go with them.

and btw in in NY area so we are probably talking to the same SIAA

Search Agency Equities website. You can find clusters by state maybe you will find something comparable to SIAA there.

Thanks for your reply. It is better to just call them. By doing some research I came up with few more compaines. Smart choice, super access. Which is better choice to join?
