I found out yesterday that UHC will be coming to the Maryland exchange. I called to get more information and found out that they will be requiring a separate contract to market their ACA plans. In the past you only needed your current individual and family contract. Today I was told they are still working out the details. Does anyone know what they are requiring in other states where they will be offering ACA plans. Companies don’t seem to understand that agents need time to plan an last minute decisions by them don’t make our job any easier.
