I am getting sick and tired of dealing with Golden Rule/UHC. I have a client who withdrew a policy on the 14th of March (keeping current plan). I was always told that it takes 7 to 10 business days for the client to get their refund check sent to them.
I just called GR on this client and was now told that it takes BETWEEN 13 AND 18 DAYS TO PROCCESS! Process, as in that long before then can mail the check out! "We have a new verification system, and it takes this long" is what I was told. A new verification system? Are you freaking kidding me? They can withdraw in a minute, but it takes 13 to 18 days to return the money in the mail?
Between the long waits on the phone, and this terrible return policy, I think I am going to no longer offer their products as often.
