All of my new UHC clients received emails, addressed from me, today saying their applications were incomplete. I had nothing to do with sending them out, of course.

They all showed as completed on my agent site so called them and they said they were sent 'In Error'.

I asked what was being done about it and the answer was 'they are working on it'

I asked if they would send out another email letting everyone know it was an error and the answer was 'they are working on that'

I then asked when competed enrollments would show up in New Business with a policy number and the answer was 'they are working on it'

I finally asked if all the policies written so far would be issued and invoices, policies, and ID cards mailed before December 31st, I'm sure you know the answer to that as well :no::no::no::no::no:

My client in Texas emailed me today that she had 82 emails from UHC and counting. For the largest health carrier that are acting like dolts this open enrollment season.

UHC should have priced their products through the roof in your state like they did in Illinois. You would not be enduring this hell with them now. I think UHC is just viewing their entry into ACA as an experiment... that they can't lose, thanks to the bail-out pool.

A few weeks ago UHC sent me about 100 repeat emails every three minutes all day long. Then it stopped, no explanation.

12 clients with UHC so far, 8 approved, and 3 phone calls on this matter. Nothing like throwing a wrench into my tight schedule.

UHC is new to the market in NC this year. Have any of you had experience with them as far as how your clients like the coverage/customer service/etc?

I have switched a few this year. They are an HMO here in NC and there isn't a lot of detail about how big/small their networks are. In NC they are using the compass network. So far with the clients I have switched, it looked like all their providers/hospitals were in network.

Tell your clients to call their doctor's office an confirm they participate in the Compass network, we've had this problem in South FL with UHC were the Prov Dir states that are participating, but when the patient to calls to confirm their participation they are told they don't accept it. they don't want to hear anything, other than their doctor works with their plan.

This would be good advice except for the middled aged office manager who has no idea what network the office takes but just answers we don't take Obamacare.
