I was wondering about any producers writing as ICA's for United and the bconnected software. Is it "normal" for your manager to be demanding your password information?:skeptical:

I'm uncertain what they would possibly be able to need that for ...I gave mine to my manager and suddenly got no leads...changed my password...suddenly getting leads

It might very well be normal, but giving out your password is rarely a good idea. I've never been a fan of the UHC ICA deal and this is another example of why.

In case you're wondering, you're probably getting hustled and your manager is probably stealing your leads.

uhc ica program is bs, reminds me of why i ran from away from Failstate Insurance years ago. Only thing worse than being captive is when the carrier doesnt have any skin in the game. Run like hell, find a GA who answers their phones and gives support and doesnt think they need to hold a bunch of silly meetings to spend your time puffing their own feathers and feeding you the corporate line. After all every time you step away from your duties your taking $$$ off your table so they can get a low cost, cheap audience.

Bastards are too cheap to put you all on salary, cheaper to put you on 1099, then think they are going to haul my ass in every week for a meeting. And if it was a meeting about sales, marketing, etc I would be the first one there every time. But to tell me about their "take" on healht care reform, or quarterly results for the company, or who is promoted at corp. you gotta be kidding. And after all would it really stoke your feathers that much if you had a bunch of hungry agents lining up in a room because they your holding a lever over them so you can prance around like a peacock and get your feathers stoked? What a bunch of old, arcane, self induglent ass holes. I signed up for the ica as independent, years ago knowing better, but still had to take the leap and once again am proven my suspicions were correct.

Very well said!

I couldn't agree more. The Sales Manager in the Bay Area is a piece of crap!

Thanks!
