Hello,
Ok what would be the best approach to figure out if insurance is really what you want to do? Is there things you can do part time? or do agents hire for just certain pieces??
I would like to try it before diving all the way in but not sure how you would go about getting a taste to see if you are going to like it well enough to make it a life long career?

Thanks for any imput

What happened to you with American Family? If you are not working now how about finding an agent that will let you shadow them for a week. That should give you a pretty good feel. If you are not working now what do you have to lose as long as there is no big capital outlay? If you are working you can find a way to try your hand at it part time. You just have to figure out who and what works for you..

Hello
Yes I interviewed with american family however the timing was too soon they needed things done quickly to get someone into training and I could not meet that timeline. We had just moved and was still getting stuff settled. I am still talking with AMFAM and there next slot for this area is later this summer so its still an option. And No I am not going to do realty LOL however I was licensed but there are certain aspects of Real Estate that I did not like. So I wanted to look into the part time or something that is flexible because I am going to take a few classes at the local college...

THanks for some Ideas I will go talk to the Indy's is this area and see if anyone needs anything or I can learn something. Also does anyone know Does the farm Bureau have to have a licensed agent?? I may check with them also
