USA Benefits

Contracted with USABG back in late April. Was promised by the hiring manager if things did not work out I could leave and go on my merry way. I was also promised a higher commission level, although that has now been corrected. I spoke with Don Duryea this afternoon and he will not release me from the hierarchy. This prevents me from being able to write with American Community, my main carrier, for three months. I am okay with being paid on the policies via USABG that I have written under them, but I cannot go three months wihtout utlizing my main carrier. Avoid contracting with UASBG. There are far better outfits than this bunch. Also, they do not pay street level commissions when you first start.

I to made this mistake over a year ago. Don said he would release me and when I took him up on it he called me every name in the book and said I will never go anyware and if I wanted to write for AHCP it was threw him or no one. it turned out to be no one I never wrote a policy under him again. BEWARE.

Looked into them recently, but the name Don Duryea sounded vaguely familiar. Then it hit-- this guy has been around the block before on similar schemes... I passed.
