Yeah, but who is he going to throw to? Ward has been slipping for 2 or 3 years now, and now no Holmes? Injuries to the O line already...Big Ben has one good fantasy year, and week to week he is pretty unreliable. Not to be a homer, but I would take Matt Cassel 2 or 3 rounds before him.

As far as Brees, why not? Nothing has really changed around him. He proved last year he doesn't have to have Colston at full strength to put up rock star numbers.

Pitt signed a few FA WRs and have a pair of very speedy wideouts. They just signed another OL so I think they'll be fine. Remember...I mentioned Ben as a backup QB on your Fantasy roster, not the primary.

I've noticed Ben is starting to look like Drew Bledsoe to me since the motorcycle wreck. I don't think he has the wheels to run anymore. Sad really, he was one of the superior physical quarterbacks with his size and speed before that wreck.

I assume you are kidding. He won a Super bowl after the wreck and he is still considered one of the physically superior (maybe the top one) QBs in the NFL. In fact, he's in better shape now than ever before.

By the way...he never was that fast...just elusive.

As far as overall ability...I wouldn't say he's the best but certainly in the top 4-7.

I think his biggest problem is that he holds on to the ball too long. Maybe stemming from his confidence that first contact won't bring him down, but for whatever reason it tires out and probably pisses off his O linemen.

Heath Miller is a difference maker for him too.

I'll take even money on them making the playoffs.
