Wegovy/Ozempic/Zepbound for weight loss

They are miracle drugs.

I've been Type 1 Diabetic from birth like my father. These drugs changed my life.

But I wasn't authorized to get them. They are authorized for Type II, not Type I (for bullshit reasons that will eventually change). I had to go to Henrymeds and lie about my weight (said I was fatter then I am) to get it compounded for cash.

I take a lower dose then recommended and it has still helped me lose 20+ pounds and completely eliminate swings in my blood sugar while lowering my insulin intake substantially.

I recommend anything you can do to get clients on these drugs. You can lie about your weight in a televisit, they don't care.

Yea I am not gonna advise my clients to commit insurance fraud lol

Ozempic is great for weight loss when you're taking it but if you make no lifestyle changes and come off that weight will come right back.. people want easy fixes and life just isn't like that.
Those drugs stimulate the production of Leptin (the hormone that makes you feel full) earlier than it otherwise would as a result you eat less and don't feel hungry. Interestingly, with the satin Crestor, some folks gain weight on that one Leptin is not triggered until you have eaten far more than you'd "normally" eat (eg not taking that drug). So stop Ozempic and you lost the "early trigger" to feel full earlier so you eat more again. Stop Crestor and you have that full feeling triggered earlier (normally) and you eat less again and lose weight. Of course there are likely a bunch of other factors involved, but this is one of the main mechanisms involved in the weight loss with that (and similar) drugs.

Respectfully, there's really nothing groundbreaking about them. They are just appetite suppressants. There are natural supplements that will do the same thing (Berberine is one) for $10, but they advertise HEAVILY and brainwash everyone into "asking their doctor."

And their doctor, who is always getting major-paid by big pharma, is more than happy to accommodate. To anyone curious, if someone takes Ozempic, Novo-Nordisk has a program where they can get it free, directly from them, the manufacturer. Push the costs onto them.

As we've seen with the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act," RX costs very much eat away at the insurance companies' bottom line, and as most of the collateral damage, we agents and Medicare beneficiaries take the brunt of it in cuts.

People with Type I diabetes have metabolic syndrome through no fault of their own. Therefore, these drugs do in fact serve a very good purpose for them.

Look around in society at people's midsections. Our food supply is poisoned with massively toxic chemicals designed to make us addicted.

In turn, they cause disease—primarily metabolic syndrome (insulin resistance), which is the failure to handle and process glucose in the body. Our cells cannot store it properly as they are either full due to massive over-consumption of carbohydrates, or have a damaged mechanism and won't allow glucose in. Or both.

People can hate Trump and RFK Jr. all you want, but what you're really doing is championing their own enslavement to big food/bad health, which leads them to big medical/big pharma.

We have been systematically poisoned for decades, and of course, lied to all along the way. Just read the labels of "Maple syrup" in your grocery store next time you're there. If it's in plastic, you'll find the first ingredient "High fructose corn syrup". The second ingredient? Corn syrup. Not an ounce of maple syrup in them. Sugar is in everything.

Just research Harvard's sugar scandal to learn how this all happened.

The root cause of most health problems that exist today is people eating toxic foods, too frequently. Not that they have an Ozempic deficiency. So why on earth would you want to treat it with one of these drugs? More money for big pharma, and more enslavement for you.

On the other hand, fasting, which truly is a cure for metabolic syndrome, cannot be marketed.

Big Pharma also giving us cancer so they can push their chemo treatments.

Cancer thrives on sugar. Fasting and substantially dropping carbohydrates should certainly be a consideration at that point, but that's up to the individual. But you're right, big pharma LOVES the existence of cancer.

I've said it from the start, watch a cure for cancer come through and the amount of people complaining "But what about all the lost jobs?"

I agree with you on all of this but to say Trump is a champion of healthy eating is pretty wild considering he lives on a diet of McDonalds and diet coke.. not sure I trust that guy to rein in "Big Food"

A friend of mine had cancer with a 25% chance to survive 15 years ago. He took all sugar out of his diet and made everything from scratch. He made carrot juice from fresh carrots. He survived.

This is not the first time I heard something similar
