Wellabe Cutting Commissions in Washington State.

I received an email from Wellabe that they are cutting commissions effective February 1, 2025, for new business in WA St going forward on their Medico supplement plans.

Did anyone else get this email or know more about it?

It's happening with multiple CO's . It could be the beginning of reduced comp on all health products as profit margins collapse . All it took was one carrier to get the ball rolling . I expect many mapd carriers next aep to cut commissions big . Dst seps gone , lis/dsnp sep gone .Everyone and their brother targeting t-65 . Look how p@c carriers left and right pulled out of many states and reduced commissions in others . In the last 18 months 8-10!fe carriers have closed shop . You got to be blind to not see what's going on . At the very least commission levels will contract

It's because WA is a year-round GI state. Medico is joining the 'Pay a pittance for GI business' bandwagon.
